Account Executive, Midmarket

We are looking for a mid-market Account Executive who will qualify potential customers within target markets, and with time, also provide sales demos of the Mouseflow platform for potential customers.

The Mid-Market Account Executive is the initial point of contact between prospective customers and will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads and closing deals within a designated market. It is important that the candidate is persistent, has a can-do attitude, is willing to pull up their sleeves, and is a fast learner when it comes to understanding sales processes and varying tech products.


As a US Mid-Market Account Executive, you will focus on prospecting, lead qualification, connecting with and following up on as many leads as possible using email sequences, LinkedIn, and phone to book meetings and determine if the potential clients are a good fit for Mouseflow. The Mid-Market Account Executive will systematically update and enrich our CRM system (HubSpot) and use tasks and automation to identify opportunities and determine when and how individual leads should be approached.

Depending on the nature of the lead, once a lead has been qualified and a demo has been booked, the Mid-Market Account Executive will (a) smoothly transitioning the prospect to the relevant Enterprise Account Executive (if necessary) who will take over to close the deal or (b) take the demo with the client and work on closing the deal.

As our new Enterprise Account Executive, you will:

  • Prospect for new business, researching companies, and individuals that meet criteria for prospective partnership with Mouseflow
  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Reach out to target companies using email sequences, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Provide sales demos and close new business opportunities
  • Develop and adjust the outbound communication strategy to identified persona types
  • Update, enrich and monitor our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Build new methods for attracting clients
  • Co-responsible for setting and executing the strategy on the target market

Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc.

You will bring:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an outbound/inbound sales role, preferably within a SaaS business
  • Experience conducting research to identify potential customers and key decision-makers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A winner mentality with a never give up attitude
  • Ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment, and introduce the concept of the Mouseflow platform to solve problems
  • Bilingual (Spanish or French) speaking is a plus
  • A skillset within digital marketing is a plus
  • Experience working with HubSpot or other CRM software is a plus
  • Represent the company and our products with a high degree of professionalism

This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Sales who is located in the head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
